From 2001 to present, Michael W. Cravens has held the position of President, C.E.O.
and shareholder of IKON Powder Coating, Inc. in Anaheim California. IKON is a
job shop contract metal finishing company that operates four complete finishing
systems in a single 40,000 square foot facility. This ISO compliant company is
currently servicing the outsource finishing needs of companies such as Ford, GM,
Chrysler, Harley Davidson, Northrop, Autoliv, TRW, K&N Filters, Ricoh Business
Machines, Bose, IGT, and many more.

Background:
Michael W. Cravens started his career in powder coating application technology in 1976. His experience
includes six years as production manager for United Asbestos and Rubber Company’s (UNARCO) powder
coating Division in Santa Fe Springs California and eighteen years as Vice President and General Manager of
Powder Coat Services, Inc. in Anaheim California.
This hands-on experience offers a unique advantage as an educator to the finishing industry. Past projects
include expert witness testimony in coating related litigation involving, metal fabricators, coating
manufacturers, chemical suppliers, and building owners and architects.
