Cravens has held the position of president and C.E.O of Powder Finishing Consultants, Inc. located in Yorba Linda California.  Powder Finishing Consultants was founded in 1994 by Michael Cravens to help powder-finishing companies with the development of training programs designed to increase the efficiency and profitability of their finishing systems. The company is active in the promotion of educational programs aimed at the powder coating professional.  As a metal finishing professional Michael W. Cravens has held the position of President and C.E.O. of IKON Powder Coating, Inc. in Anaheim California.  IKON operates four complete powder coating systems in a single 40,000 square foot facility.  This ISO company is currently servicing the metal finishing needs of companies such as Ford, GM, Chrysler, Harley Davidson, Northrop, Autoliv, TRW, K&N Filters, Ricoh Business Machines, and many more.   Background: Michael W. Cravens started his career in powder coating application technology in 1976.  His experience includes six years as production manager for United Asbestos and Rubber Company’s (UNARCO) powder coating Division in Santa Fe Springs California and eighteen years as Vice President and General Manager of a large job-shop powder coating Company in Anaheim California.    This hands-on experience offers a unique advantage as an educator in this rapidly growing industry.  Past projects include expert witness testimony in coating related litigation involving, metal fabricators, coating manufacturers, chemical suppliers, and building owners and architects.                       Publications & Technical Presentations:  Powder Coating - The Hands On Approach – videotape training series.
